Cobb Island Salted Candle
Cobb Island is an uninhabited Virginia Barrier Island with a long, sugar sand beach licked by the Atlantic Ocean. The island used to be home to be home to a community of year round residents and a resort called Cobb Hotel that was frequented by titans of industry for a truly off-the-grid escape. We love to think about what it would have been like to spend time at the hotel, perhaps seated in a leather wingback chair in front of a roaring fireplace.
This candle captures those smoky, earthy tones. Each candle is hand poured for us by a local, woman-owned candle shop and is made of soy and coconut wax and then topped with a sprinkle of Barrier Islands Salt to bring a piece of the islands to your home. Each one is hand packed in a white gift box and tied with vintage twine.
We use clean fragrances in all of our candles - this means they're free from carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other potentially hazardous chemicals often found in fragrance.
