Pure Flake Sea Salt
Pure Flake Sea Salt
Pure sea salt, hand-harvested from protected Atlantic waters between Virginia's untamed barrier islands and the mainland. Each delicate flake carries the essence of the largest remaining coastal wilderness on the East Coast.
- Perfect finishing touch: delicate crunch, bright mineral taste
- Small-batch crafted using traditional methods
- Takes over 2 gallons of Atlantic sea water to make just 1 ounce of salt
- From pristine waters of the 130,000-acre Virginia Coast Reserve
- Elevates everything from fresh vegetables to chocolate desserts
Finish dishes just before serving—that crucial moment when texture meets taste and transforms the ordinary into extraordinary.
Exactly what we were looking for to use in our mostly Virginia ingredients produced Gose beer.
I got these as Christmas gifts and they were enjoyed by all!
A “must have” in my pantry. Always make sure I have an extra jar.
The 1st time I tried this salt was in Cape Charles. I licked my lips and it took me back to all the years and good times at the ocean! It is the perfect finishing salt no matter what you use it on! It’s the only salt I use and I have my family hooked!
This salt has a perfectly subtle taste….reminiscent of the slight salinity taste on your lips after a swim in the ocean. We did a taste test at home with other fine brands and Barrier Usland was the winner!
